The WMU(Women's Missionary Union) began as an auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention in 1888. It brought awareness to the churches of the need of Missions in their congregations. One of the most well known members was Annie Armstrong, of whom we know honor by having our yearly Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.
The WMU of Friendship Baptist Church would like to invite you to their monthly meeting. They meet once monthly on the first Thursday of each month in our family life center at 6:30pm. It is a great time for planning mission events, praying for our missionaries, fellowship, and comforting one another.
